How promotions work in the Northern Mariana Islands
The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, which includes Saipan, Tinian and Rota, is a US territory in the western Pacific. It uses the US dollar and is ahead of the mainland by around fourteen to fifteen hours, so a deadline set in a US time zone arrives earlier on local time than it appears.
National sweepstakes rarely include the Commonwealth, because their rules reach only the 50 states and the District of Columbia. A listing on this page means the official terms name the Northern Mariana Islands or the promotion is run locally, for instance by a bank, a telecom company or an island retailer. We note which of the two applies.
When shipping is involved, ask the sponsor whether freight to Saipan is covered. Heavy prizes such as appliances or vehicles are the usual problem. If the answer is not in the rules, contact the sponsor through the address on the official page and keep the reply as proof.

Entering from the Northern Mariana Islands
Check the residency wording and the address requirements used by the sponsor. If the rules are ambiguous, the safest option is not to infer eligibility.
For physical prizes, confirm shipping and fulfillment to the islands. Some campaigns separate where you may enter from where a prize can be delivered.
Before submitting, revisit the official rules from the detail page and make sure nothing has changed in the eligibility or prize terms.
